Desert Landscape View

Scope and regulatory position

Mezzarion operates across mining, trade, and investment engagements under defined mandates and internal controls.

Mezzarion does not hold client funds and does not present itself as a regulated deposit-taking institution. Where financial instruments, settlement rails, escrow structures, or bank-issued instruments are involved, delivery and settlement occur through the relevant banking and legal channels, subject to counterparty due diligence, documentary standards, and acceptance rules.

Nothing on this page constitutes an offer to transact or a binding commitment. All engagements remain subject to due diligence clearance and contract execution.

Mezzarion prioritises bank-readable execution. We reduce friction by publishing acceptance rules up front, enforcing documentary discipline, and operating a gate-based engagement procedure.

Operating principles

  • Clear acceptance rules before counterparties invest time and cost

  • Auditability and document integrity across each stage

  • Sanctions/PEP/adverse media screening and escalation discipline

  • Defined contracting and title-risk rules aligned to Incoterms® 2020

  • Inspection / sampling / assay posture aligned to commodity risk

  • Controlled use of agents/introducers (no hidden commissions)

How we run transactions: bankability by design

Counterparty onboarding and monitoring (high-level)

Mezzarion operates a staged, gate-based onboarding model intended to prevent fraud, sanctions exposure, and documentary failure.

Onboarding flow

  1. Intake & identification
Confirmation of legal identity, engagement context, and contracting entity.

  2. Screening
Sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening to identify initial risk flags.

  3. KYB/KYC verification
Corporate documents, beneficial ownership checks (where applicable), and verification steps.

  4. Decisioning & escalation
Approve / enhanced due diligence / decline, including legal escalation where required.

  5. Ongoing monitoring
Event-driven rechecks and periodic refresh where risk level requires.

Note: timelines vary by jurisdiction, ownership complexity, and risk level. Higher-risk profiles may require enhanced due diligence and may be declined.

If any of the following are required to proceed, Mezzarion declines the engagement:

  • Bribes, kickbacks, facilitation payments, or hidden commissions

  • Sanctions evasion, deceptive routing, or misrepresentation of origin

  • Cash-based structures or unexplained third-party payments

  • Fabricated, backdated, or manipulated documentation

  • Undisclosed sub-agents or off-book intermediaries

  • Pressure to bypass KYB/KYC, screening, inspection, or documentary standards

  • Any structure requiring material misrepresentation to a bank, regulator, or counterparty

Mezzarion typeface

Mezzarion is an integrated mining, trade, and investment company building responsible, bankable critical-resource value chains across the regions where we operate.

We do not hold client funds or provide regulated financial services; where escrow or bank instruments are used, settlement occurs through appropriately regulated institutions and is subject to counterparty due diligence (KYB/KYC and sanctions screening).
