For Suppliers
Reality-based onboarding. Pilot-first execution. Repeatable corridors.
Mezzarion works with a limited number of serious producers, aggregators, and manufacturers to build repeatable, compliant, bank-grade supply corridors across metals, energy, and agriculture.
To protect both sides and avoid wasted time, every supplier goes through a structured process—from first contact to first pilot

Our Principles
Our supplier process is built on five principles:
-
Reality over stories
-
Compliance first
-
Pilot before promises
-
Clear paper
-
Mutual upside (where appropriate, after performance is proven)
This process applies to:
-
Asset owners/operators (mines, plants, refineries, depots, factories)
-
Licensed aggregators/exporters with documented offtake or control
-
Manufacturers/processors supplying finished or semi-finished products
* We generally do not formalise relationships with unlicensed intermediaries who cannot demonstrate legal control over product.
Who This Applies To
The Three-Step Supplier Journey
Step 1 — Supplier Registration & KYC
Objective: Confirm who you are, what you control, and whether we can work together under our compliance standards.
What you do
1. Complete the Supplier Onboarding & KYC Form, including:
-
Entity details, directors, shareholders/UBOs (≥25%)
-
Banking details (corporate account; no third-party beneficiaries)
-
Asset details, capacity, allocable volume
-
ESG/labour/safety declarations
2. Upload core documents (as applicable):
-
Incorporation, registry extract, UBO structure
-
IDs for directors/UBOs
-
Tax/VAT registrations
-
Licences/permits (mining/processing/export/trading)
-
Recent CoAs and shipment history (where available)
-
Bank letter confirming account ownership
3. Optional: Bottlenecks & Investment Opportunity section (non-binding)
What we do
-
KYC, sanctions and risk checks
-
Basic licence verification and sanity-check volumes vs asset type
-
Categorise as a pilot candidate or decline early
Objective: Design a controlled pilot that tests real supply, quality and operations before any long-term commitments are discussed.
What we do
-
Technical/commercial discussion (spec, volumes, Incoterm, load/delivery points, constraints)
-
Issue a non-binding Pilot Supply Term Sheet
-
Draft a Pilot Supply Agreement incorporating the Mezzarion STCs and standard compliance clauses
What you do
-
Provide concrete feedback and align on pilot parameters
-
Sign the pilot agreement and prepare your operations/logistics/finance teams
Step 2 — Pilot Structure & Agreement
Step 3 — Pilot Execution & Performance Review
Objective: Execute 1–2 pilot lots and measure performance based on reality.
What you do
-
Make pilot quantity available at the agreed point
-
Cooperate with inspection/weighing/sampling
-
Provide documents accurately and on time (invoice, packing list, CoAs, weighbridge certs, origin/licences, delivery notes/receipts, export customs paperwork)
What we do
-
Coordinate independent inspection/assay (as agreed)
-
Manage payment under the agreed structure (escrow/SBLC/LC/etc.)
-
Track performance against: quality, delivery, documentation accuracy, and responsiveness
Post-pilot, suppliers are categorised internally (Tier 1/Tier 2/not suitable) and, where appropriate, we may explore longer-term frameworks or partnership structures.
All suppliers are screened for legitimacy, ownership transparency, sanctions/PEP exposure, licence adequacy, and basic ESG/labour/safety posture.
We do not work with:
-
Unlicensed operators/exporters
-
Third-party or informal bank accounts
-
Structures designed to conceal ownership/beneficiaries
